SML-GGA2013-winners-broch-coverFourteen winners, 21 Highly Commended and 3 International winners ‘rocked’ onto sustainability stardom at the awards ceremony of Green Gown Awards 2013 held at Derby College on 12 November 2013. This year, the ceremony was hosted by Professor Iain Stewart MBE (Professor of Geosciences Communication at the University of Plymouth), a presenter of environmental programmes on the BBC, who is also known as geology’s ‘rock star’.

Organised by the Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges (EAUC), the Awards recognise annually the best sustainability practice within tertiary education in the UK, bringing together the sectors’ leaders, drivers and thinkers of sustainability.
