NUS announces 25 Students’ Green Fund projects in England

SML-NUS-SGF-websiteThe National Union of Students (NUS) has announced 25 ethical and environmental projects that have been successful in bidding for the funding of its Students Green Fund.

These projects, led by student unions, will drive transformative sustainability across their campuses and communities, creating world-leading greening credentials across English higher education.

The student-led funding panel considered proposals from 120 students’ unions and each successful project has been granted between £150,000 and £300,000 for a project period of two years. The NUS will support these projects during this period.

The £5m Students’ Green Fund has been funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE).
