New Director of Kingston Sustainability Hub

Dr Victoria Hands is the new Director of the Sustainability Hub of Kingston University, taking over from Dr Ros Taylor in January 2012.

Dr Hands was Head of Environmental Sustainability at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where she established a Sustainability Team and an environmental management system. She holds a PhD in embedding sustainable development and chairs the London Universities Environment Group (LUEG).

Dr Taylor has been instrumental in the development of Kingston University’s sustainability movement, which led to the creation of the Sustainability Hub in 2009. Now in retirement after 40 years of service to Kingston, she has accepted an honorary role in the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Computing.

  1. Congratulations! I had the pleasure to work over three years under Dr Hands’ leadership and witness the amazing work and positive change she brings. You have chosen a great leader for Kingston University’s Sustainability Hub and I look forward to hearing more about its impact and ripples the future.

  2. Thanks for every other fantastic post. Where else could anyone get that type of information in such a perfect means of writing? I have a presentation next week, and I am at the look for such information.
